Concert in F with Filomena Campus - SOLD OUT!

Sardinian Embassy of London, together with the Italian Cultural Institute and Istituto Fernando Santi is proud to sponsor "Concert in F", a new international production celebrating the life and work of Italian female iconic artists, from theatre legend Franca Rame to queer feminist author Michela Murgia and singer Maria Carta.

A musical picture of the uniqueness of the female voice with particular enphasis on Sardinian female artists.

With Filomena Campus (vocals and effects) and Steve Lodder(piano and keyboards).

Devised and Directed by Filomena Campus in collaboration with Anthony Biggs.

Original compositions and arrangements by Steve Lodder.

Blending jazz with spoken word, this new piece by Theatralia has been created in partnership with The Playground Theatre, one of London’s most acclaimed development spaces. Please wear something red or purple.

This project is part of Campus' LAHP-funded research at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, exploring vocality, irony, and improvisation in dialogue with philosopher Adriana Cavarero's concept of public happiness,  Rosi Braidotti's theory of affirmation, and Silvia Federici's idea of collective creativity.
